Very professional and effective massage, can really tell Christian is very experienced and understands exactly where to apply pressure and for how long. One of the best massage experiences I’ve had and I’m feeling fantastic after it. Highly recommend Christian!

We needed a sports injury specialist at short notice whilst on holiday in Paphos. I messaged in the morning and he came to our villa same day with all the equipment, bed etc and did an excellent job. Great service, paid via Apple Pay too, even easier!

I had a 90 minute massage from Christian, and it was absolutely amazing. We really dug deep resolving many muscle knots that has been with me for a long time. If you’re in Paphos and want a massage, I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and professional. You can tell immediately that he has real expertise — precise technique, great pressure, and he focuses on the areas that actually need work. Left feeling genuinely better. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience with the massage therapy in Paphos. The deep tissue treatment was both relaxing and healing, and I left with noticeably less pain. Professional, calming, and highly effective — I truly recommend it to anyone looking for quality massage therapy in Paphos.

Christian gave an absolutely fantastic massage and would recommend 10/10 to anyone who is looking for a well priced and talented masseuse.

I had a great experience with Christian. I chose the deep tissue sports massage and it was fantastic—just be patient, as the full results are felt a few days later. It is 100% worth it, especially if you have back issues.

Why this treatment

Why clients in Paphos book myofascial release

Myofascial release in Paphos is the treatment I reach for when stiffness feels general rather than local and stretching has stopped making a difference. Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps every muscle; when it thickens or adheres after injury, surgery or years of the same posture, the muscles underneath cannot glide and the whole region feels tight no matter what you do with it. Fascial release works differently from a standard massage: slow, sustained pressure and stretch held on one area until the tissue gives, rather than fast strokes over it. Where the fascia is thick and stuck the mechanical device supports the hold; elsewhere it is hands only. It suits the stiffness left after old injuries, restriction that seems to move around the body, and people who stretch every day and never get looser. A typical client is a Kissonerga retiree whose shoulders and mid-back have been stiff since an operation years ago and who has been told there is nothing wrong. I work from Chlorakas and bring the table to homes across the Paphos district.

What clients come to me with

  • A mid-back that feels wrapped in something tight from the moment you wake up.
  • A pull down one side of the body that stretching moves but never clears.
  • Old scar tissue that still tugs when you reach or twist.
  • Hips that feel locked after months of desk work or driving.
  • A range of motion that has quietly shrunk over the years and been put down to age.

Who this is for

Is myofascial release right for you?

  • Stiffness that feels “everywhere” rather than in one muscle.
  • Restriction left after old injuries, surgery or long periods of poor posture.
  • People who stretch daily and never get looser.
  • Anyone with a chronic pull or tightness that changes location.

The session

What happens in a myofascial release session at your home

  1. A short assessment first — where it hurts, what makes it worse, how you move — so the session targets the cause rather than the sore spot.

  2. Slow, sustained pressure and stretch on the fascia — the connective web around muscles — held until the tissue lets go, rather than fast strokes.

  3. Where the fascia is thick and stuck the mechanical device supports the release; elsewhere it is hands only. You can stop or ease the pressure at any point.

  4. We recheck range of motion at the end so you can feel the difference, then simple homework to keep the change between sessions: usually one or two movements, not a programme.

Typical course

Usually 3–5 sessions a week or two apart for chronic restriction, then as needed. Fascia changes slowly and holds well once it does.

What I bring:
A professional treatment table, fresh linens and oils — and the deep-tissue device when a session calls for it. You provide nothing but a bit of floor space.
What you need:
About 2 × 2 metres of clear floor; set-up takes around 10 minutes.

Before you book

Myofascial release: what it is, and when not to book one

This is clinical treatment, not a spa or adult service.

  • You stay covered except for the area being worked on, and you undress only to your own comfort.
  • You are welcome to have a partner, friend or family member present — many clients do.
  • Fresh linens for every client, the table is sanitised between sessions, and hands are washed on arrival.
  • The session starts with a short assessment and you can stop or adjust the pressure at any point.

When not to book

  • Fever, infection or feeling unwell — reschedule.
  • Recent surgery, fracture or an acute injury under 72 hours old — see a doctor first.
  • Blood-thinning medication or a clotting disorder — tell me before we start; pressure is adjusted.
  • Unexplained, severe or worsening pain, numbness or weakness — that is a doctor first, massage second.

If in doubt, message me first — I would rather say no than treat something that needs a doctor.

Questions

Myofascial release in Paphos: common questions

What is fascia and why does it matter?
Fascia is the connective tissue web that wraps every muscle. When it thickens or sticks — from injury, posture or repetition — muscles cannot glide, and you feel stiff no matter how much you stretch.
How is myofascial release different from deep tissue?
Deep tissue targets muscle with firm pressure; myofascial release targets the connective tissue with slower, sustained holds and stretch. Many sessions blend both, and I will pick the mix based on what your tissue is doing.
Will one session fix it?
Chronic fascial restriction rarely resolves in one visit. Expect noticeable change after the first session and lasting change over three to five.
Is it painful?
Mostly a deep stretch sensation rather than sharp pain. Pressure is always adjustable and you stay in control.
