Tala is about 11 minutes from my base in Chlorakas from my base in Chlorakas, and travel is included in the price — the €90 is for the treatment, not the mileage. The hour you book is a full hour on the table, and when it finishes you are already home.

A professional treatment table, fresh linens and oils. You provide about 2 × 2 metres of clear floor — a living room, bedroom, terrace or hotel room all work.

How it works in Tala
Tala is the hill village north of Paphos, about eleven minutes from my base in Chlorakas up the road through Emba: a stone-built square with a couple of tavernas, the monastery of Agios Neophytos in the valley above, and, spread across the slopes around and below the village, the villa estates most people mean when they say Tala. The views are the reason people live here — the sea from most terraces — and so is the quiet. The community is largely retired and largely British, with a fair number of long-stay winter visitors, and the requests I get reflect that: hips, knees and lower backs that have earned a rest, shoulders from the garden, the odd golfer. A villa with a level drive and a terrace is the easiest set-up I do.
Access
The estates have level drives and ground-floor living rooms; village houses and split-level villas often have external steps, so say so and I will bring the trolley kit. A villa name or a pin helps — not every estate road is on the map.
Parking within a short walk helps — the table and kit come in on a trolley.
