Very professional and effective massage, can really tell Christian is very experienced and understands exactly where to apply pressure and for how long. One of the best massage experiences I’ve had and I’m feeling fantastic after it. Highly recommend Christian!

We needed a sports injury specialist at short notice whilst on holiday in Paphos. I messaged in the morning and he came to our villa same day with all the equipment, bed etc and did an excellent job. Great service, paid via Apple Pay too, even easier!

I had a 90 minute massage from Christian, and it was absolutely amazing. We really dug deep resolving many muscle knots that has been with me for a long time. If you’re in Paphos and want a massage, I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and professional. You can tell immediately that he has real expertise — precise technique, great pressure, and he focuses on the areas that actually need work. Left feeling genuinely better. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience with the massage therapy in Paphos. The deep tissue treatment was both relaxing and healing, and I left with noticeably less pain. Professional, calming, and highly effective — I truly recommend it to anyone looking for quality massage therapy in Paphos.

I had a great experience with Christian. I chose the deep tissue sports massage and it was fantastic—just be patient, as the full results are felt a few days later. It is 100% worth it, especially if you have back issues.

Why this treatment

Why clients in Paphos book injury rehabilitation massage

Injury rehabilitation massage in Paphos is for the stage after the acute one: the strain, tear or operation is behind you, a doctor or physio has looked at it, and what is left is stiff, guarded tissue and the compensations the rest of the body built while it protected the injured part. Rehab massage works on both. Around and into the healing tissue it keeps circulation moving and scar tissue mobile so the repair lays down in a direction you can use; further away it clears the muscles that took over the load — the opposite hip, the other calf. Depth is progressive, matched to what the tissue tolerates each week, and I work alongside whatever physio or surgical guidance you already have. It suits strains and tears past the first few days, post-surgical stiffness once you are cleared, and old injuries that never settled. A typical client is a Coral Bay resident who tore a calf on the coastal path, finished the physio exercises, and still cannot trust it. I am based in Chlorakas and cover the Paphos district.

What clients come to me with

  • A hamstring that healed but still grabs at the top of a stride.
  • A stiff, tight ankle months after a sprain that was never treated.
  • Knee or hip surgery that left the surrounding muscles rigid and untrusting.
  • A shoulder that has stopped hurting but has not got its reach back.
  • A limp or favouring pattern that has outlived the injury that caused it.

Who this is for

Is injury rehabilitation massage right for you?

  • Muscle strains and tears past the first few days.
  • Stiffness and scar tissue after surgery, once cleared by your surgeon.
  • Old injuries that never quite settled.
  • Athletes returning to sport who want to avoid re-injury.

The session

What happens in a injury rehabilitation massage session at your home

  1. A short assessment first — where it hurts, what makes it worse, how you move — so the session targets the cause rather than the sore spot. If you have physio or surgical guidance, I work alongside it.

  2. Careful work around and into the healing tissue: circulation, scar mobility, and the compensations that build up around an injury.

  3. Progressive depth over the course of the plan as the tissue tolerates it. You can stop or ease the pressure at any point.

  4. Range and loading exercises matched to where you are in recovery.

Typical course

Weekly at first for 3–6 weeks, then spacing out as function returns. Timelines depend on the injury.

What I bring:
A professional treatment table, fresh linens and oils — and the deep-tissue device when a session calls for it. You provide nothing but a bit of floor space.
What you need:
About 2 × 2 metres of clear floor; set-up takes around 10 minutes.

Travel included in Paphos, Kato Paphos, Chlorakas, Coral Bay, Tala, Tsada, Geroskipou, Kissonerga, Pegeia, Emba and Konia — and everywhere else in the Paphos district, travel included. Beyond the district — Polis, Latchi, the Limassol side — is usually possible too. Ask, and I will quote any travel time before you commit.

Before you book

Injury rehabilitation massage: what it is, and when not to book one

This is clinical treatment, not a spa or adult service.

  • You stay covered except for the area being worked on, and you undress only to your own comfort.
  • You are welcome to have a partner, friend or family member present — many clients do.
  • Fresh linens for every client, the table is sanitised between sessions, and hands are washed on arrival.
  • The session starts with a short assessment and you can stop or adjust the pressure at any point.

When not to book

  • Injuries under 72 hours old, suspected fractures or anything undiagnosed — get it looked at first.
  • Post-surgical: only after your surgeon or physio clears manual work.
  • Blood-thinning medication or a clotting disorder — tell me before we start; pressure is adjusted.
  • Unexplained, severe or worsening pain, numbness or weakness — that is a doctor first, massage second.

If in doubt, message me first — I would rather say no than treat something that needs a doctor.

Questions

Injury rehabilitation massage in Paphos: common questions

Can massage help a torn muscle?
Once the acute phase has passed and a doctor has ruled out anything that needs imaging or rest, yes — massage helps circulation, keeps scar tissue mobile and addresses the compensations around the injury.
Do I need a diagnosis first?
For a fresh injury, yes. I am not a substitute for a doctor or physiotherapist; I work alongside them once you know what you are dealing with.
How long until I can train again?
That depends on the injury and your medical guidance. My job is to make sure the tissue is ready and the compensations are gone when you do.
