Kissonerga is the next village up the coast from Chlorakas — about nine minutes from my base, one of the shortest drives I make. It sits between Chlorakas and Coral Bay: villas and small complexes on the seaward side of the coast road, the old village core up the hill, and banana plantations running down towards Potima Bay. Most of the people who book me here are residents — British and Cypriot, a good number retired and outdoors every day — plus a steady trickle of holiday lets in the villas by the coast. Because it is so close, Kissonerga is where I can most easily fit someone in at short notice or slot a session between two others. The table goes up in a living room or on a shaded terrace in about ten minutes.

Nearly all Kissonerga addresses are villas or small complexes with a driveway or visitor parking and a ground-floor room or terrace; a few village houses have steps, so mention them and I bring the trolley kit.
