How it works in Geroskipou
Geroskipou is the town immediately east of Paphos, on the road out towards the airport — about ten minutes from my base in Chlorakas, straight through town or round the bypass. It has its own square with the five-domed church of Agia Paraskevi at one end, a folk-art museum in an old town house, and the loukoumi workshops the town is known for; behind that it is mostly residential streets, a mix of Cypriot families, retirees and people who work in Paphos but wanted more house for the money. Most of my Geroskipou bookings are evenings and Saturdays: someone home from a shift or a desk who wants the session in their own living room rather than another drive into town. Ground-floor houses and the apartment blocks along the main road are both easy for the table.
Access
Geroskipou is mostly houses with a driveway or a step or two up from the street, plus newer apartment blocks along the main road; parking is easy away from the square. About 2 × 2 metres of floor is all I need.
Parking within a short walk helps — the table and kit come in on a trolley.
